Davidson Roberts was initially set up in 2006 with the purchase of our first nursery, Buckden Day Nursery, in Cambridgeshire. Since then, the Davidson Roberts group has grown gradually acquiring several more nurseries and out of school and holiday clubs in the east of England.
We aim to provide a welcoming and stimulating environment for the children in our care and always employ the highest quality staff dedicated to working in childcare. It is our intention to continue to grow organically while retaining our individuality.

We have a rigorous process of interviewing, supporting and developing staff of a high calibre who often progress their career in one of our settings. The consistency and quality of staff is one of the many things we are well known for, and is the reason why parents return year on year. Our staff are recruited because of their qualifications, experience, welcoming nature and commitment to working with children. Several members of staff are graduates in early years.
Our staff undertake an enhanced DBS check, Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene training, as well as attending frequent Early Years courses to ensure their knowledge and skills are kept up-to-date with current childcare legislation.
Each manager works closely with their management team colleagues to ensure consistent high standards are delivered across the whole of the Davidson-Roberts group.
